About Flamingo Hill Camp Nakuru

Flamingo Hill Camp is situated just outside Lake Nakuru National Park, 2km from the main gate. This friendly camp is set in landscaped gardens, surrounded by lush natural foliage.

There are 25 en-suite tents shaded by thatched roofs, which can be doubles, twins or triples as required. All the tents have 4-poster beds, writing table, mosquito net and private veranda, and are decorated with natural wood and wrought iron. Pink Restaurant seats 80 pax and serves buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is table d’hote; buffet dinner or private dinner can be served on request. The bar has WiFi. It is well stocked with soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits, and serves cocktails including Flamingo Hill Cocktail. The open lounge has views of the plains, comfortable sofas, a fireplace and a selection of books. The swimming pool is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with Jacuzzi and massage room. The reception and 1 tent have wheelchair access.

The camp has conference facilities and can arrange breakfast and lunch events, board meetings and press launches. It also offers gala dinners and cocktail parties. Game drives into Lake Nakuru National Park can be organised by the camp, or self-drive. Flamingo Hill Camp recycles grey water and supports environmental restoration and conservation of endangered species.

On a private campsite in Lake Nakuru National Park, sister camp Lakira Camp is a charming, seasonal tented camp. The camp is adorned with safari antiques and rich coloured fabrics.
