About Exploreans Mara Rianta Camp

Nestled in a curve of the Mara River, Exploreans Mara Rianta Camp overlooks the hippos that wallow in the water. The camp is a tented camp with a selection of activities.

There are 20 en-suite tents, made up of doubles and twins. The tents are built on elevated wooden platforms with private viewing decks, and have armchairs, writing desk, safe and call button for butler. All tents have a shower and some also have a Jacuzzi; water is heated by solar power. The Acacia Dining Room serves buffet breakfast and lunch and a la carte dinner. The Zebra Bar and Lounge serves soft drinks, beers, wines and cocktails. There is a library equipped with WiFi. The Mvua Spa offers a range of massages and face and body treatments, and uses nourishing natural ingredients.

Activities include morning game drives, evening game drives, guided nature walks, bird watching and cultural visits to local Maasai villages. Night game drives can be arranged on request. Bush breakfasts, lunches and sundowners are also available. Exploreans Mara Rianta Camp is a member of the Plan Hotel Group; holidays combining a stay at the camp with a stay at the affiliated resorts in Malindi can be arranged.
