Across the creek from Kilifi town centre, Mnarani Club looks out over the water. The name, meaning lighthouse, refers to the hotel’s position at the entrance to the creek, and the hotel’s infinity pool appears to be tumbling into the creek.
There are 82 en-suite rooms, made up of doubles, twins and singles. They are divided between Garden Rooms and Creek Rooms. All rooms have aircon, fan and telephone. The restaurant serves buffet, with an international menu including crab cakes with chutney, chargrilled vegetables, corn and pea Masala, pork chops and hot cinnamon and carrot doughnuts. There is also a pizza oven with a selection of fresh pizzas. A snack menu is available at the poolside. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, football pitch, squash court, crazy golf and a TV lounge with satellite TV. The spa offers facial, massage, manicure and pedicure.
3 Degrees South, a registered Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre and Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Scuba Diving Centre, is on site and has a team of friendly professionals offering water-based activities for all ages. Courses and excursions in sailing, windsurfing and diving are on offer, as well as kayaking, SUP, waterskiing, wakeboarding and tubing.
