About Tamarind Village

Tamarind Village is a collection of luxury serviced apartments on the waterfront in Nyali. With its towering white walls, curling archways and classical turrets, the village rises from its coral ramparts like a formidable 14th century fortress. There are 48 apartments, made up of 24 1-bedroom, 9 2-bedroom and 15 3-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is individually designed with Swahili furniture, and has a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and spacious balcony. They are equipped with aircon, satellite TV and minibar. The award winning Tamarind Restaurant, which opened in the 1970s, specialises in seafood. The Harbour Restaurant, on the waterfront, serves light meals such as prawn, mango and macadamia salad, fish fillet grilled with lemon butter and pasta with a choice of sauces. The bar is well stocked. Tamarind can organise catered business meetings in private apartments. There is a fully equipped conference room that seats 40 pax. The resort also offers WiFi, fax, telephone and secretarial services. There are 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, squash court and the Creek Club Fitness Centre. Uzuri Wellness offers treatments including firming facial, foot treat, hopi candle, hot stone massage and de-stressing massage. Activities such as scuba diving, water-skiing, windsurfing, golf, deep sea fishing and trips to Bamburi Nature Trail and Mombasa Old Town can be arranged.
