About Acacia House

Located in a secluded valley in the north of Mara North Conservancy, Acacia House overlooks Ol Chorro waterhole. The house is a fully staffed private house from which guests can watch an array of wildlife and birdlife at close range. There are 2 spacious en-suite bedrooms, and an attic bedroom suitable for children. There is also a large sitting and dining room and a den that can be used as an office. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main house, by the open fireplace. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. Guests can choose the self-catering option if they prefer. The house has a swimming pool, TV and DVD, and is equipped with WiFi. A solar power inverter gives 24-hour electricity.

Activities include day and night game drives, and game walks, in the conservancy. Picnics in the bush and sundowners can be arranged. For an extra charge, game drives in the Maasai Mara National Reserve can be arranged. Visits to local Maasai villages, schools and markets are also on offer. The house is managed by Asilia Africa and is keenly eco-friendly. Ecotourism Kenya has awarded the house its prestigious gold award.
