On the southernmost tip of Lamu Island, Kizingoni Beach Villas are a collection of elegant houses set in 23 acres of secluded beach.
The luxurious Kaskazi House, formed of 4 towers in landscaped tropical gardens, has 4 doubles and 1 triple. Kusini House, built in Swahili style around its swimming pool, has 3 doubles and 1 twin. Pepo House, shaded by 2 indigenous trees, has 4 doubles. Jahazi House, built of coral block and tinted ochre yellow, has 4 doubles and 1 twin. Kuni Jogoo House, on a sand dune with a 180Æ view of the coast, has 3 doubles and 2 twins. Kizingoni House, whitewashed and west-facing, has 4 doubles. Wazi Dubu House, with soft yellow walls and colourful shrubs, has 4 doubles, 1 twin and 1 children’s twin. All the houses have their own swimming pool, dining and living area, terrace, fully equipped kitchen, private speedboat and team of staff.
Activities include water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling, dhow sailing, fishing and swimming with dolphins when in season. A game drive on the mainland is also available. Parties and weddings can be arranged. Kizingoni Beach Villas minimise their environmental impact by using solar power and wind turbines, composting food waste and growing fruit and vegetables.
