About Cottar’s 1920s Camp

Cottars 1920s Camp is located between the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the Tanzania border. The camp is surrounded by forested hills. There are 10 en-suite tents, made up of 6 standard and 4 family tents. All tents have mosquito net, chair, table, cupboard, luggage rack and veranda with a view of the valley. The standard tents can have double or twin beds as required. The family tents have an en-suite double bedroom, en-suite twin bedroom and living room. An extra bed can be added if required. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the mess tent. Meals can also be taken in the bush or in the privacy of the guests’ tent. The bar serves soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

Activities include day and night game drives. Game walks in the hills and cultural visits to Maasai villages are also available. Sundowners can be arranged. The gift shop sells gift items, T-shirts, fleeces, books and Maasai artefacts. The spa offers massage, manicure and pedicure.
