About Eagle View

Perched on a ridge amongst indigenous euclea and croton bushes, Eagle View gives stunning views over the plains of the Naboisho Conservancy. Eagle View was extensively refurbished in 2013, and is owned and managed by Basecamp, a luxury eco-friendly camp near Talek Gate. Basecamp Foundation cooperates with local communities, sponsors community projects and develops and promotes Basecamp’s sustainable tourism concept.

There are 6 spacious en-suite tents and 3 extended family tents, all raised on wooden platforms with sunbeds from which to view the game-rich plains. They are elegantly designed in cream and ochre, and adorned with natural fabrics and Maasai ornaments. 2 of the tents are suitable for guests with disabilities.

The two open lounges and elegant dining area serve international dishes, have a fully stocked bar and WiFi. Activities include game drives, night drives with infrared lights, game walks, riding safaris and cultural visits to local Maasai villages. Bush meals and sundowners can be arranged. Cultural talks from local Maasai on their traditions and lifestyle are available. Basecamp holds a gold award from Ecotourism Kenya, and has won the WTM First Choice Responsible Tourism Award, SKAL International Ecotourism Award and TIES Ecotourism Innovation Award.
