About Topi House

Topi House is a private house located between the the Olare Orok Conservancy and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The house, set amongst acacia trees, has views of the conservancy and the reserve. The area has rolling hills with attractive viewpoints, which make lovely spots for bush picnics and sundowners.

There are 3 en-suite double bedrooms, linked by a veranda that runs the length of the house. There is also an open plan living and dining area, with open log fire. The kitchen is fully equipped. Electricity is provided by solar power, and a backup generator. The house is fully staffed, including chef, safari guide, night guard and house manager. The chef is happy to adapt his menus according to the preferences of the guests. A fully stocked drinks fridge is on site. WiFi is available throughout the house.

Game drives are done in the visitors’ vehicle; a guide is provided. A 4WD vehicle is available for hire if required. Game walks in the conservancy can be arranged. Cultural visits to local Maasai villages, schools and trading centres are all on offer. Picnics and sundowners are available. The house collects rainwater and takes care to minimise its water usage, and has been awarded Ecotourism Kenya’s prestigious gold award. The house is managed by Asilia Africa.
