About Manfriday’s Mida Creek

Manfriday’s Mida Creek is a collection of individually designed beach villas, located near the world bio-heritage Mida Creek. It combines the facilities of a hotel with the privacy of private villas.

There are 4 villas, all elegantly furnished, fully equipped and fully staffed including private chef. Stonehouse is designed in coastal Arabic Stone Town style. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 plunge pools, garden terrace, pool pavilions, games room and sundowner terrace. Jack’s House, on the seafront, is constructed of local materials, and open to the sea breeze. It has 2 en-suite double bedrooms, swimming pool, living and dining area, upper observation deck and elevated sundowner deck. Mida House, with striking views of Mida Creek, has 2 double bedrooms, rooftop deck and sundowner terrace. The Guest Cottage has 1 en-suite double bedroom, living and dining area and rooftop deck.

The Boat Bar and Kite Bar have an extensive list of juices, wines and cocktails. The compound has croquet, lawn chess and a library. Stargazing and bird watching are on offer, as are lessons in arts and crafts, painting, photography and cooking. The water sports centre offers catamaran sailing, kite surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, body surfing and sport fishing. Man Fridays is closed in May and June.
