Fusing Swahili interiors and Arabic architecture, Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa is an exotic resort on Bamburi Beach. Set in 22 acres of landscaped gardens, this resort has the largest beachfront on the North Coast. Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa has 338 en-suite bedrooms on 3 floors, made up of 133 standard rooms, 125 seafront rooms, 3 premier rooms, 66 palm rooms, 6 executive suites, 2 presidential suites and 3 rooms for guests with disabilities. All the rooms have a balcony with either pool or sea view, and all have mosquito nets. Pavilions I and II serve buffet breakfast, lunch and themed dinner. Minazi Café serves snacks and pizzas and has a kids’ menu. Lido Seafood Grill, certified by Chaine de Rotisseur, is by the poolside and overlooks the ocean, serving prawns, lobsters and steak for lunch and dinner, daily except Monday. Coco’s Beach Bar is an open air bar with beach disco, playing live music 3 days a week, while Tulia Health Bar serves healthy meals, salads and fresh juices. The resort caters for all tastes with a wide variety of water sports, health facilities and children’s entertainment. There are 3 fully equipped conference halls, seating 400, 330 and 240 pax.
