About Turtle Bay Beach Club

Turtle Bay Beach Club is set in 10 acres of manicured gardens on the edge of Watamu Marine National Park. Entitled the responsible resort, Turtle Bay has received a prestigious gold award from Ecotourism Kenya. The 89 super club rooms have a double and single bed; some have interconnecting doors; 3 are designed for guests with disabilities. The 40 Lamu rooms are cottage style double rooms. The 14 ocean front rooms have patios with direct beach access. The 2 junior suites have sitting rooms with fridges. All rooms are en-suite and have aircon, fan, kettle and hairdryer. The main restaurant, by the pool, serves buffet breakfast and dinner. The snack bar serves buffet lunch. The Seashell Restaurant, on the beach, serves a la carte dinners, reservation required. There is also a Pizza Garden, Pool Bar, Weaver’s Nest Bar and Canoe Bar. The club has theme nights and evening entertainment.

The club has tennis courts, bikes, boogie boards, paddle skis, pedalos, canoes and catamarans. The Fun Base Team organises table tennis, beach volleyball, beach Olympics, beach football, Swahili lessons, tug-of-war, water polo, snorkelling and bird watching. Children can join the supervised Mini Club and play in Tarzan’s Tree House. Nearby attractions include Arabuko Sokoke Forest, Mida Creek, Kipepeo Butterfly Farm and Gede Ruins.
