About Funzi Keys

Tucked away on an idyllic island, Funzi Keys is a remote and exclusive resort. Funzi Keys, surrounded by water on its own private peninsular, offers luxurious seclusion. There are 9 seafront cottages, including 2 cottages designed for families. There are also 8 sea view cottages. The spacious cottages have stone walls, thatched roofs and netted windows. The rooms are individually designed, furnished with hand-carved 4-poster beds, and adorned with wooden artefacts and colourful fabrics. All cottages are equipped with fan, safe, kettle, hairdryer, cool box and beach accessories, and have private verandas.

The Main Restaurant, over the bar, has views of the sunset across the sea. It serves a selection of freshly caught seafood and locally grown fruit and vegetables. The large freeform swimming pool is surrounded by a Mazeras deck with Poolside Restaurant. Massage, manicure and pedicure are available. Activities include sailing, creek fishing, windsurfing and canoeing. Boat trips up the Ramisi River or Funzi Creek provide glimpses of kingfishers, crocodiles and even dolphins. Deep sea fishing and scuba diving in the Pemba Channel can be arranged locally.
