About Kisindi Lodge and Spa
On the shores of Lake Victoria, Kisindi Lodge and Spa provides a holiday of complete relaxation. Guests at this peaceful sanctuary can choose between a day full of activities or a day of exquisite pampering.
There are 6 traditional thatched cottages, made up of 5 double cottages and a family cottage that sleeps 8 pax. The cottages are all en-suite, and have verandas overlooking the lake. Each room has a double bed and a day bed which can be converted to a single if required. The restaurant serves 3-course gourmet lunches and dinners. The bar serves soft drinks, beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, and has views of the lake and the Suba Mountains. Electricity is provided by solar and wind power.
The swimming pool is surrounded by lawn and equipped with sunbeds, tables and sunshades. The spa offers a selection of health and beauty treatments, including Swedish massage, green tea bath, manicure and pedicure. Nature walks through surrounding farmland and cultural visits to local fishing villages are on offer. A hike across the Homa Hills takes 3 hours. Boat trips and sundowner cruises are also available. Transfers from Kisumu airport can be arranged. The lodge is 11/2 hours by car or 21/2 hours by boat from Kisumu.
