About Ol Tukai Lodge

At the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, Ol Tukai Lodge is in Amboseli National Park. With log cabins, raised wooden walkways and manicured lawns, the lodge makes an attractive place from which to view the famous elephants of Amboseli. The 80 en-suite rooms are chalet-style, with uninterrupted views of the wetland or Mt Kilimanjaro. All rooms have local stone floors and mosquito nets; 2 rooms are designed for guests with disabilities. Breakfast is served on the open plains, and dinner is served under the stars. Entertainment is provided by local Maasai moran. Theme dinners are offered regularly. The Elephant Bar and the Pool Bar serve a variety of cocktails. The conference hall seats 200 pax; the business centre is well equipped. Conferences, seminars and corporate functions can all be arranged. There is also a wildlife library, spa, art boutique and an attractive chapel for weddings. Activities include game drives and bird walks. Ol Tukai Lodge has been awarded a bronze level award from Ecotourism Kenya. It supports a number of environmental and community welfare programmes including a primary school. The Ol Tukai medical stone and gum tree at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. The villa is sheltered by a copse of indigenous acacia clinic also serves the local community.

Ol Tukai Lodge is affiliated to Kibo Villa, an elegant log cabin built of tortilis trees in 5 acres of garden, and offers both peace and privacy.
