About Voyager Beach Resort

A vibrant, ship-themed resort, Voyager Beach Resort is moored on the coast, at Nyali Beach. The resort provides family entertainment and animation programmes, including themed journeys across the seven seas. The 232 cabins are made up of 68 seaview cabins, 96 gardenview cabins, 12 superior seaview cabins, 51 superior gardenview cabins, 2 large studio cabins and 3 suites with large living areas. All cabins have secluded balconies, and are equipped with telephone, aircon and safe.

The Mashua Restaurant serves themed buffets, with entertainment provided by staff at the Captain’s Table. The Smugglers’ Cove specialises in seafood and grilled meat. The Minestrone Restaurant serves snacks including sandwiches and pizzas. There are 4 bars: the Kaskazi bar beside the sports pool, the 24-hour Harbour Bar, the cocktail Sports Bar and the Lookout Bar, on a raised platform, that has sweeping views over the bay. Facilities include a sports pool, a beachfront pool, a fun pool, a mini gymnasium, tennis courts, volleyball court, table tennis tables and pool tables.

A wide range of water sports is on offer, including scuba diving, big game fishing, canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing. Daily entertainment includes acrobatic shows, marine and conservation education and even a Beach and Pool Olympic Games. Voyager Beach Resort holds Ecotourism Kenya’s silver award. Heritage Hotels received Virgin Holidays Gold Award in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
