About Sandies Tropical Village

Set in tropical gardens along Malindi Beach, Sandies Tropical Village offers an all inclusive package.

The 109 en-suite garden rooms are made up of 85 deluxe garden rooms, 12 of which interconnect for families with children, and 24 junior suites. The rooms are designed in Lamu or English style, and have a mini fridge, aircon and safe. In addition, the junior suites have stocked minibars, evening turn down service, free laundry and breakfast room service. The ground floor rooms have facilities for guests with disabilities.

The Tropical Restaurant serves a buffet of international and Italian cuisine. The Savannah a la carte restaurant serves a selection of seafood and fish dishes, reservation required. The Tropical Jahazi Bar serves drinks, snacks and pastries. The Tropical Beach Bar serves drinks by day and the Disco Bar serves drinks at night.

The water sports centre has catamaran, windsurfing, canoeing and sailing. The PADI scuba dive centre has dive courses and trips. The Animation Team provides daily and evening entertainment programmes such as aquagym, beach volleyball, archery and seasonal shows. The Dream Spa at nearby Diamonds Dream of Africa has a centre of Thalassotherapy, a beauty centre, 2 salt water pools with muscle-toning water jets and a gym.

Sister resort, Sandies Coconut Village, is an all inclusive resort for families and young couples alike. The 45 en-suite rooms, in 2-level bungalow blocks, are made up of 33 superior rooms with pool views and 12 superior beachfront rooms. All rooms are furnished in Swahili style with queen size canopy beds, large bathrooms with walk-in showers and private terraces with African sofas.

In lush landscaped gardens, Diamonds Malindi Beach is an Arab-African styled boutique resort. The 23 deluxe rooms, made up of 6 deluxe sea view rooms and 17 deluxe garden rooms, are situated in 8 striking Arabic 2-floor villas.
