About Mara Siria Camp

High on the Siria Escarpment, Mara Siria is a traditional safari camp with wonderful views over the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The 14 en-suite tents and cottages comprise 8 luxury tents, 2 deluxe tents, 2 Maasai style cottages, and 2 twin tents. The luxury tents and twin tents are fully tented; the luxury tents are more spacious the deluxe tents are raised on wooden platforms, shaded by thatched roofs and their bathrooms are built of local stone. The Maasai style cottages are constructed of local materials. All tents have comfortable safari furniture, private verandas and bathrooms with safari showers.

Activities include morning and evening game drives, nature walks, mountain biking and cultural visits to local Maasai villages. Balloon safaris and scenic flights can be arranged. Meals are served in the mess tent or out in the bush; dietary requirements can be catered for. Sundowners are served around the campfire. The plunge pool and collection of viewing decks have views across the plains. The camp also has a wine cellar and a gift shop.

The camp holds Ecotourism Kenya’s silver award; electricity and hot was are produced by an environmentally friendly photovoltaic plant.
