About Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Sopa Lodges have been operating in Kenya and Tanzania for around 30 years. They currently have 5 lodges in Kenya and 3 in Tanzania.

Lake Nakuru Sopa opened in 2017. High on the escarpment, the lodge has lovely views across Lake Nakuru National Park and the gleaming lake at its centre. The 60 en-suite rooms include 2 interconnecting rooms suitable for families, and 2 rooms with wheelchair access. All rooms have telephone, minibar and hair dryer. Meals can be served in the large restaurant, in the rooms or out in the bush; dietary requirements can be catered for and children’s food can be arranged. There’s a bar in the lounge and another by the pool.

The lodge has a board room that can accommodate 10 pax. It also has a swimming pool, gift shop and Wifi. Weddings, special events, gala dinners and team building sessions can be arranged. Lake Nakuru National Park has about 56 species of mammals and 450 species of birds. The park is known for high numbers of white and black rhino, as well as for large numbers of aquatic bird species including the flamingos that give the lake its pink sheen.
