About English Point Marina, Nyali

East Africa’s first and only luxury marina opened in 2016. The lavish development includes a hotel, serviced apartments, conference centre, multiple restaurants and a boardwalk with designer shops. On the seafront of Nyali, the complex has views across the water of Mombasa Old Town and Fort Jesus.

The hotel has 26 en-suite rooms, elegantly adorned in white and silver, with aircon, satellite TV, minibar, safe, hairdryer, and tea and coffee. The penthouses have, in addition, balcony with Jacuzzi. The suites have sitting room, dining room and work desk; the luxury suites have 2 bedrooms. The seafront Karahi Restaurant serves authentic Awadhi cuisine from India; the rooftop Medusa Restaurant serves food from around the world. The bar beside the infinity pool serves canapes and cocktails.

The top floor conference room has a capacity of 60 pax, while the 2 boardrooms each seat 12. Lavish banqueting venues include the glass-encased outer pier with a capacity of 300 and the modern inner pier with a capacity of 250. Weddings can be organised to the taste of the couple. Ansui Spa offers Elemis-based treatments; the gym is fully equipped. A range of water sports is on offer. The development was built sustainably and designed to protect the ecosystem and natural resources.
