About Kibo Villa

At the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, Kibo Villa is an elegant log cabin built in stone and gum tree. The villa is sheltered by a copse of indigenous acacia tortilis trees in 5 acres of garden, and offers both peace and privacy.

There are 3 en-suite bedrooms, named after Amboseli’s well documented elephants, Echo, Eli and Adam. Echo, the honeymoon suite, takes up the entire 1st floor, and has a private Jacuzzi, fireplace and veranda. Eli and Adam, on the ground floor, are spacious, with large beds and sitting area. The rooms can be taken individually, or the villa taken exclusively. The lounge has a fireplace and large windows with views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Meals are served in the dining room, or can be taken privately. The villa also has a swimming pool.

Activities include game drives and guided bush walks. Bush meals and sundowners are also on offer. Massage can be arranged for an extra charge. Kibo Villa strives to protect, conserve and restore the natural environment. Committed to sustainable development, the villa operates using as few resources as possible and generates minimal waste. It has pledged to create environmental awareness among its employees, customers, suppliers and the community.
