About The Kasbah Clubhouse

The Kasbah Clubhouse has traditional Swahili architecture with a modern twist. The white house is reflected in its central swimming pool, and has open air lounges on either side.

The 2 apartments and 4 suites are spacious, and elegantly designed, with white walls, open ceiling beams and wall niches. Junior I and Junior II, on the 1st floor, have large French windows and spacious balcony with a daybed and dining table. Dunes Suite, at the top of the annex, is linked by a wooden staircase to a thatched tea house with views on all sides. Triangle Suite, in the annex, has a dressing room leading into the bathroom. Channel Suite, on the 2nd floor, has a fully equipped kitchen, sitting and dining area and private rooftop pavilion. Baobab Suite, on the ground floor, has private entrance, open plan kitchen, living and dining area and private swimming pool. All suites have en-suite bathrooms, 4-poster beds, silent ceiling fans, dimmable lighting, dressing table and safe. The suites can be taken individually, or the house can be taken as a whole.

Activities include tours of Lamu Old Town, visits to Takwa Ruins, snorkelling at Manda Toto, and dhow cruises on the channel. Yoga sessions and spa treatments are available near the house.
