About Amboseli Bush Camp

In the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, Amboseli Bush Camp is an affordable haven. With great views and complete privacy, this is the ultimate getaway.

There are 2 separate self-catering camps. One has 3 en-suite tents and the other has 2 en-suite tents; bathrooms have safari showers. Each camp has a kitchen, lounge and fireplace, and its own waterhole. The camp is only self-catering; drinking water is provided but all other food and drink must be brought by the guests. The kitchen has a freezer, clay oven, BBQ and gas cooker. The team of staff will assist with housekeeping and in the kitchen. Nearby lodges have restaurants should guests not wish to cook for themselves. The comfortable lounge has a spacious deck with lovely views. There is a campsite; tents and mattresses are available for rent.

The camp is near Amboseli National Park, known for views of Mt Kilimanjaro and huge herds of elephants. There are high numbers of resident wildlife and birdlife. Observation Hill gives panoramic views of the park; the swamp below it attracts animals to drink, and a variety of water birds. Amboseli is only a few hours’ drive from Nairobi.
