This exclusive retreat on the Laikipia Plateau offers striking views, unusual species, sustainable policies and eco-friendly ethos.

The 8 en-suite villas comprise 5 1-bedroom villas raised on wooden decks; 1 family villa with double and twin room, lounge and deck; Segera House with double and twin room, lounge, deck, garden and plunge pool; and Villa Segera with bedroom connected to observation lounge and deck by a bridge, lounge, swimming pool and sunken hide. The luxurious Segera NAY PALAD Bird’s Nest, 3km from the main retreat, offers the unique concept of sleeping like a bird in the air and has a 360° birds-eye view.

Meals can be served in the Paddock House, Stables or Pool Bar area. The retreat also offers entrance pavilion, shop, art gallery, gym, wellness centre including a double spa room, Rasul Tower with steam bath, wine cellar and salt water swimming pool. The botanical garden is dotted with African art.

Activities include game drives, nature walks, tours of the botanical gardens, sleep outs, cultural visits to local villages, and visits to the hides and lookout.
