Established by two of Kenya’s most famous safari guides, Enaidura Camp is known for unparalleled guiding and exceptional game viewing. Paul Kirui and Johnson Ping’ua Nkukuu, who own the camp, were both named in Conde Nast’s 25 Best Safari Guides of guides from all over Africa.
Enaidura means migration, an apt name for this camp that can migrate to wherever the game viewing is best, and whose primary location is in the path of the annual Great Migration. The 6 en-suite tents have double or twin beds as required, and their bathrooms have safari showers. The open-sided mess tent, where meals and drinks are served, has colourful rugs, safari chairs and gas lamps. The camp is keenly eco-friendly; it has minimal footprint and runs from solar power.
The camp moves according to the season. Its primary location is where the Mara and Talek rivers meet which has good game viewing at all times of the year, and especially during the Great Migration. The camp operates as a base for Kenya’s top freelance guides who advise on the best parts of the Mara for game viewing each season including, on occasion, the lovely Mara Triangle. The camp can be booked exclusively if required.
