About Naboisho Camp

Established in 2011, Naboisho Camp is a small and exclusive tented camp. The camp is situated in Naboisho Conservancy, a community-driven initiative created in 2010. The conservancy is a wildlife conservation and tourism area that supports the livelihoods of the surrounding communities; the camp provides access to this fresh region with plentiful game. There are 8 en-suite tents that can be double or twin, and 1 family tent, set in an acacia forest looking out over a glade. The tents are the latest in traditional design, and include a spacious veranda and an outdoor shower. The experienced staff provide personal service; the certified guides deliver informed game drives; the award-winning chef creates innovative bush cuisine. The camp is eco-friendly; electricity is provided by solar power, with a backup generator. The tents are suitable for disabled guests, advance notice required.

Activities are tailored according to the guests’ wishes, and include game drives, night drives, game walks and cultural visits to local Maasai villages. The conservancy is characterised by sweeping open plains that roll into forested seasonal streams. It is rich in plains game and predators.

Naboisho Camp is managed by Asilia Africa and has been awarded a prestigious gold award by Ecotourism Kenya.
