About Royal Mara Safari Lodge

Royal Mara Safari Lodge sits on the banks of the Mara River in Mara North Conservancy. The lodge blends the appearance of a classic tented camp with the facilities of a lodge.

The 8 en-suite tents stand on raised mahogany platforms with private verandas overlooking the river. They are furnished with hand-carved solid wood furniture including 4-poster bed, and equipped with electronic safety deposit box and minibar. Meals can be served near a hippo pool, on the open savannah, under the stars in the bush or privately on the guests’ veranda. All dishes are homemade with fresh Kenyan produce and prepared in a professional kitchen.

Daily activities are tailored to the guests’ wishes. Activities include day and night game drives, game walks and cultural visits to Maasai villages. Royal Mara Safari Lodge is committed to the environment. All non-biodegradable waste is transported to an urban collection point. All materials used including guest supplies, cleaning materials, waste disposal methods and landscaping are eco-friendly.
