Situated on the creek amongst mangroves, Tudor Water Sports is part of a marina. The complex has a restaurant overlooking the water and offers a wide selection of water sports and boat trips.

There are 18 en-suite rooms, made up of doubles and singles, and 2 family rooms. All rooms have sea view. The rooms are equipped with aircon, satellite TV and fridge. The seafront restaurant has an a la carte international menu, and specialises in barbecue, steaks, pizza and seafood. The restaurant’s balcony has lovely views across the water.

The marina has boat repair facilities. Boat trips can be arranged in various kinds of boats, including glass bottom boats, pleasure boats and fun paddle boats. Deep sea fishing is also on offer. Kayaking and rowing are available.

Tudor Water Sports, at the northern end of Mombasa Island, is conveniently located for Nyali Bridge, and the north coast beaches of Nyali, Bamburi, Shanzu and Kikambala. The island of Mombasa is known in Swahili as Kisiwa ya Mvita, which means Island of War, due to the many changes in its ownership through its long and eventful history. Local attractions include the world famous Fort Jesus and Mombasa Old Town.
