About Eden Nairobi

On the edge of Nairobi’s giraffe sanctuary, Eden Nairobi is an artistic residence in 4 acres of lush gardens. Originally the home of Tonio and Anna Trzebinski, the house is now a living museum filled with the family’s own paintings, sculptures and ceramics, as well as their extensive private collection of African art.

The 9 en-suite rooms are all individually designed and decorated. The spacious master bedroom, Lana and Tasha’s room, and Stas’ room, in the main house, all have polished wooden floors, elegantly upholstered furniture and vivid artwork. Garden view, forest view and the 3 studio lofts, in Tonio’s studio, have hand-carved wooden furniture and striking arts and artefacts. The self-catering cottage has open plan living and dining space, and en-suite bedroom, and is available for an artist in residence for the creation of their own pieces.

The Deck, on the lake, is the hotel’s main restaurant and bar, and serves predominently Mediterranean cuisine created from fresh organic ingredients. The hotel has been featured in several magazines, and noted as being best for art and soul in Tatler’s Travel Guide 2022. The hotel is near Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary, the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum.
