About InterContinental

A graceful whitewashed building, the InterContinental has for many years been a prominent hotel in Nairobi. The hotel combines classic style with modern facilities. It is centrally located, and is within walking distance of the parliament buildings and the Kenyatta International Conference Centre. There are 376 en-suite rooms, including 16 suites. All rooms are equipped with aircon, satellite TV, whirlpool, trouser press, iron, kettle, hairdryer and minibar. In addition, the rooms on the club floor have a private check-in area and exclusive lounge. The suites include adjoining rooms and dining area.

The Terrace is an informal restaurant with a mixture of international and local cuisine. La Prugna D’oro serves Italian cuisine and Bhandini serves Indian cuisine. Plantation Lobby Café and Safari Bar serve drinks and snacks.

The ballroom, with 5 adjoining rooms, seats 800 pax, and can be divided into 2 soundproof sections if required. There is also a meeting room that seats 100.
