Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group is known for establishing hotels in historic buildings and with avant-garde architecture. Bringing a European touch to Africa, they established the Kempinski Villa Rosa in Nairobi in 2012.
The 200 en-suite rooms on 10 floors comprise executive, superior, deluxe rooms and business, premium and presidential suits. All rooms are fitted with the gilt and polished wood adornments of historic houses of Europe, and all have Wifi, TV, safe, desk and balcony. Dining options are Sichuan at 88, Italian at Lucca, Levantine at Tambourine, and continental at Café Villa Rosa. K Lounge offers afternoon tea; The Balcony offers cocktails and live music; Aquos on the deck of the heated pool offers light bites and smoothies; and the Cigar Lounge offers cigars and liqueurs.
The conference centre has 9 rooms including a grand ballroom, a capacity of 500 pax, and a professional events team. Kempinski The Spa has an extensive menu of indulgent treatments in their 9 treatment rooms. The fitness studio has a weight centre and cardiovascular area. The hotel also offers a limousine service, concierge services, valet parking and a collection of boutiques.
