About Sarova Panafric

Named in honour of the Pan African movement, Sarova Panafric was inaugurated in 1965 by the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta and truly represents Neo Africa. Throughout the 1960s, the Panafric was a centre for liberalism and hosted many of Africa’s nationalists and future statesmen.

The Sarova Panafric has 153 en-suite rooms on 6 floors, made up of 4 suites, 3 club twins, 10 club doubles, 17 superior twins, 48 superior doubles, 65 standard twins and 6 standard doubles. It also has 2 rooms for guests with diabilities and 42 serviced apartments with fully equipped kitchens, made up of 28 1-bedroom and 14 2-bedroom.

The Flame Tree brasserie and bar has a terrace with a panoramic view of the city and serves buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner, with a weekly entertainment programme. The Poolside Garden Restaurant offers snacks and a la carte, and is an ideal place for barbecues, parties and wedding receptions. Local bands play in the poolside gardens every weekend.
