About Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort is situated on 120 acres of lakefront gardens. The lodge is approached by a stone path along the side of a pond surrounded by plants. The resort is decorated with wrought iron chandeliers and African artefacts.
There are 84 en-suite rooms. The rooms are located in 21 cottages, built in a crescent shape; each cottage contains 4 rooms, 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor. All rooms have dressing table, cupboard, luggage rack, minibar and veranda. They are adorned with local art. 2 rooms are suitable for guests with disabilities; 6 rooms are interconnecting, suitable for families; 48 rooms have TV and safe.
The restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. It opens onto a terrace which overlooks the garden. The main bar is in the lobby; another bar is in the restaurant. There is also a pool bar which serves a light a la carte menu, and a has a poolside pizzeria. Longonot Conference Hall seats 120 pax, and is adjoined to 2 secretariat rooms. Suswa Conference Hall seats 20 pax. Both halls are equipped with overhead projector, LCD projector, PA system, TV and video. There is also an area designated for teambuilding exercises. Weddings can be arranged.
