About Mbweha Camp

In the private Congreve Conservancy next to Nakuru National Park, Mbweha Camp is a simple yet stylish camp. The 6,400-acre Congreve Conservancy is part of the Soysambu greater conservancy area which borders Elementaita.

Mbweha Camp is surrounded by yellow barked acacia and euphorbia candelabra, and isn’t fenced so animals can wander through. The 10 en-suite stone cottages have thatched roofs, handcrafted 4-poster beds, rustic furniture, star bath and private veranda with a hammock. The camp also has an open-sided lounge with fireplace and a dining area. It offers day and night game drives and guided bush walks in the conservancy. Game drives in Soysambu and visits to Lake Elementaita hot springs are also on offer. Other activities include camel rides, horse rides, bicycling, guided hiking at the nearby mountain known affectionately as Delamere’s nose, and visits to Kariandusi prehistoric site, Menengai Crater and Hyrax Hill.

Meals can be served in the open-sided lounge or in the bush; cuisine is continental and dietary requirements can be catered for. The camp has WiFi and charging facilities. Yoga retreats can be arranged. Atua Enkop operates the camp, along with sister camps Tipilikwani Camp, Elephant Bedroom Camp and Mara Ngenche Safari Camp.
