About Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge

Set on a plateau overlooking Lake Nakuru, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge has a striking view across the flamingo-filled lake. The lodge’s beautifully landscaped gardens, with natural foliage and wide variety of flowers, are surrounded by a 24hr electrical fence.

The 67 bedrooms are made up of 64 standard rooms and 3 suites: Ziwa, Chui and Faru. All the bedrooms are en-suite ground floor chalets with private patios giving panoramic views of the lake. Flamingo Restaurant, on the ground floor, serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Adjacent to the restaurant is a terrace overlooking the pool, the lodge grounds and the lake. The Rift Valley Bar also has a view of the lake. The lodge has a swimming pool, sauna, pool table and table tennis table. Massage is on offer. Archery and tree planting can be arranged, as can conferences and teambuilding activities. Traditional dancers entertain guests at 7pm every night.

Lake Nakuru National Park has an abundance of game, from the flamingos, pelicans and other birdlife on the lake to the white and black rhino, hippos and the elusive leopard on its shores. Guides and vehicles are available for hire for game drives. Nature walks around the grounds of the lodge and the vegetable garden are also on offer. Sarova Hotels has a loyalty programme called Zawadi.
