About Hillpark Hotel Tiwi Beach

Set in beachfront gardens on Sand Island Beach, Hillpark Hotel Tiwi Beach, formerly known as Maweni and Capricho, offers a selection of cottages and hotel rooms. The cottages either face the beach or are surrounded by attractive gardens.

There are 26 self-catering cottages, made up of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom cottages. There are also 17 hotel rooms. All rooms are decorated in Swahili style, with wicker furniture, bright fabrics and aged wooden ornaments.

A chef can be provided on request. The restaurant serves a selection of Kenyan and Italian cuisine, as well as seafood. Beach dinners and parties can be arranged. Weddings are planned according to the requirements of the couple. Seminars, conventions, concerts and photos sessions can also be arranged, either on the beach or in the resort.

There are 4 conference halls, the smallest of which seats 40 pax and the largest of which seats 70. The halls are all equipped with aircon, LCD projector, overhead projector, TV, DVD and VCR. The massage parlour offers massage, manicure and pedicure. Boat trips to Shimoni, Wasini Island and Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park can all be arranged. Fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling are also available. Day trips to Shimba Hills and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary can be booked.
