About Kenyaways

On Diani Beach, Kenyaways offers beachfront rooms, friendly atmosphere, welcoming beach bar and kitesurfing.

The 10 en-suite rooms are named after kites; all are individually decorated in coastal style with terraces. Rebel, Tribal, Crossbow, Raven and Fuel are more spacious and have ocean views. Bolt, Park and Cult face the garden swimming pool and are ideal for families or groups of friends. Waroo and Torch are double and triple budget rooms beside the restaurant. Bandit is an airy 1-bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette, extra sofa-beds and veranda.

The Salty Squid Beach Bar and Restaurant has an appealing menu of local specialities using fresh organic local ingredients, and offers plenty of fresh seafood, tasty vegetarian options, cold beers and innovative cocktails. Sunbeds surround the pool and beach. Massages and beauty therapy can be arranged.

H2O Extreme, founded in 2003, is the leading kitesurf centre in Kenya and is a professional affiliated International Kitesurfing Organisation. The centre offers private and group lessons, full length courses, refresher courses, individual coaching and equipment hire. Other water sports include windsurfing, surfing, kayaks and SUP. The Kenya Kite Cup, held annually in January, is one of Diani’s major events; proceeds go to Diani Turtle Watch and Local Ocean Conservation.
