About The Ocean Spa Lodge

The Ocean Spa Lodge, on a private beach south of Msambweni, offers exclusive luxury and elegant beachfront villas. It has the largest infinity pool in East Africa and a state-of-the-art spa tailored to health and wellness.

There are 14 luxury suites in 6 beautiful thatched villas. Every suite has an ocean view, private entrance, living area, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with walk-in showers and a veranda. Amenities include WiFi, bathroom products, safe, mini-bar and hair-dryer. Family suites are more spacious and have a second bathroom. Furniture is hand-crafted by local artisans and art is created by African artists. Coral Villa, comprising 4 suites, can be booked exclusively.

The spa is a collaboration with Des Iles Centro Benessere Stresa of Italy; the approach is holistic and incorporates maris to renovate with the principles of the sea, vita to energise with the energy of the sun and equilibria to balance with the elements of nature. The spa also includes a yoga and fitness centre, relaxation area, hydro massage pool and a Kniepp circuit.

The chef uses fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes, and can adhere to all dietary requirements. There’s also a community shop, boutique, bar, library and TV lounge.
