There are a number of good hospitals in Nairobi. There are also hospitals in major towns, and medical clinics in rural areas. Malaria is found throughout the country, although malaria transmission at altitudes of over 1,520 meters is rare. Travellers should consult their doctor before travelling, for advice on the most recent prophylactics.
To enter the country, visitors are required to show a covid vaccination certificate, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
