Erin has been practising yoga for 18 years and teaching for four years. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with Yandara Yoga Institute, and her classes draw inspiration from vinyasa flow, power and restorative yoga. Originally from California, Erin has lived in Kenya for over 10 years. She is based in Nairobi, though considers Kilifi home after living and working there since 2011.
Erin was inspired to lead yoga sessions by a former teacher who holds space beautifully and creates an intentional mindfulness experience. She earned her certification to allow her to formally teach in Kilifi, a beautiful coastal town that did not have a resident yoga teacher for many years.
Now living in the often-chaotic city, Erin brings centring breath work, whole body awareness, and restorative postures to her sessions to balance out the pace of life in Nairobi. Her practice and her teaching are centred around the belief that yoga is a means for intentionally creating a higher quality of life in a busy world that is full of possibility, especially when we are balanced and poised to thrive.
We have not been advised of any upcoming events with Erin Tyburski.
