About Elerai Camp

Set in a 5000-acre private conservation area southeast of Amboseli National Park, Elerai Camp offers exclusive game viewing. The camp looks down onto Amboseli in one direction, and up towards Mt Kilimanjaro in the other, giving panoramic views.

There are 9 en-suite tents, all of which face the mountain, and 5 luxury suites, looking down on the savannah of Amboseli National Park. All rooms have sliding doors opening onto their verandas, and are furnished with large beds and luxury duvets. The bathrooms are created from natural rock and acacia wood, and have views of the plains. Dinners are a la carte, and can be served in the dining room or under the stars.

Activities include game drives in Amboseli National Park. Night drives and game walks are available in the Elerai Conservation Area. Cultural visits to the Elerai Maasai community are also on offer. The Elerai Conservation Area is located in the Kitenden Corridor, a critical wildlife corridor which links the Kilimanjaro Forest Reserve in Tanzania to Amboseli National Park and beyond. Satao Elerai Community and Wildlife Trust aims to create and support sustainable ways for Maasai communities to live in harmony with the environment and wildlife around them.
