About Ziwa Bush Camp

Overlooking a dam filled with fish, Ziwa Bush Camp is a short distance from Lake Nakuru National Park. The camp offers all the facilities of a lodge, and a restaurant with lovely views and an appealing menu.

There are 7 executive double rooms, 3 standard twin rooms and 3 family suites. All rooms are built from local stone and canvas, and have makuti thatched roofs. All have locally designed wooden furniture, en-suite bathrooms and private verandas. The restaurant is open-sided to maximise the views. The wide and inventive menu includes Thai fish cakes, creamy pumpkin soup, Greek style grilled prawns, osso buco, risotto primavera, malai kofta, and a selection of homemade pizzas. Desserts include crème brulee, country apple pie and warm chocolate brownies. The bar is well stocked with wines from around the world and local and imported beers and spirits. The pool is surrounded by a sunbathing deck.

Ziwa Bush Camp can organise meetings, weddings and team building events. The camp has Wifi hotspots throughout and has a back-up generator. It also offers laundry, babysitting, and has plentiful parking. It’s in the ideal location for visits to Lake Nakuru National Park, and makes a great place for bird watching and photography.
