Yoga Events and Happenings | Kilifi Wellness Festival 2025

Kenya’s only boutique wellness festival, the Kilifi Wellness Festival is a celebration of life. The festival takes place on Kenya’s stunning coast and out on the Creek and Ocean.

The sixth edition of the Kilifi Wellness Festival is from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th February, Valentine’s Weekend, when the world celebrates love in all its different forms.

The four-day festival has a wide diversity of activities to heal the body, ease the mind and soothe the soul. Whether participants want to stretch their bodies or relax, to challenge their minds or unwind, the festival has something for them.

The sixth Kilifi Wellness Festival will have more diverse sessions, workshops and discussions than ever before. Participants can try Yoga on a Stand-Up Paddleboard, and Circus Arts in the trees; there’s Meditation and Beaditation to calm the mind; there’s Addiction Recovery and Spiritual Coaching; there’s Afro-dance and Dance-hype; there’s Playfulness and Stress Resilience; there’s Head-wrapping and Hula Hoop, and a whole host of other sessions. Saturday is Kids’ Day, and children can enter into the fun and try dance, hula hoop, aerial yoga, face painting and more.

Festival activities include a blissful Sound Bath, a soothing Cacao Ceremony, Ecstatic Dance on the beach, Yoga Nidra under the stars, and the much-loved Moonrise Dhow Cruise.

The tented festival marketplace is filled with health-related products, eco-friendly innovations and coastal artefacts. There are organic personal care products, mental health books, wellness tech and apps, plant-based foods, yoga mats and clothing, sustainable home décor products, vintage thrift jewellery and accessories, vegan skin care products, coastal creations, sustainable low waste cosmetics, and more.

In private and intimate spaces around Salty’s lovely grounds, wellness professionals offer a selection of private treatments, including Physiotherapy, Reiki, Sound Healing, organic Henna, Realignment Therapy, Access Bars and Tarot and Oracle readings.
