About Ololo Lodge

On an escarpment with sweeping views across Nairobi National Park, this lodge started life as a Kenyan homestead. Joined to the park by a hanging bridge, the lodge offers superb views, an expansive garden and game drives in the park.

The 12 en-suite rooms comprise 2 spacious honeymoon suites in the main house, 3 tented cottages and 7 converted stable rooms. The stable cottage is a fully staffed private house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a veranda with a view of the park. All rooms have Wifi, safe, hair dryer and natural bath products. The main house is decorated with handcrafted furniture, handprinted fabrics and art from around Africa, and has a vine-covered terrace. The lounge and bar have comfortable seating with views over the park. The garden, swimming pool and pool deck have sunbeds and shaded tables.

With an expansive kitchen garden, this place creates its menu from fresh and organically grown ingredients. The farm uses sustainable farming techniques including composting and water filtering, and guests are welcome to have a guided tour. Activities include game drives in the national park and trips to sites in Nairobi including the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, National Museum and Karen Blixen House.
