About Wildebeest Ecocamp

Originally founded near Ngong Road, Wildebeest Ecocamp relocated to a lovely green space in Langata in 2014. The safari tents, cottage rooms, garden tents and dorms are set in spacious gardens.

The 3 en-suite delux cottage rooms have double beds, safe, clothes rack and mosquito nets, and lounge area with fridge and desk. The 3 en-suite cottage rooms have safe, clothes rack and mosquito nets. The en-suite deluxe safari tents are single, double, triple or quadruple, and have luggage rack, clothes rack, desk, table, safe and electrical sockets. The garden tents are single or double and have shared bathrooms. There’s also a dorm with 8 beds and shared bathrooms, and a campsite.

The restaurant and bar, raised on a wooden deck overlooking the gardens and swimming pool, has an extensive menu with Kenyan food and British pub grub. The infinity swimming pool has a pool deck. There’s also a library, games room, tour desk, lounge with satellite TV, curio shop and campfire. Luggage storage and parking are available. Activities include visiting the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Sanctuary and other Nairobi attractions. The camp supports the Watoto Wema Children’s Centre, Mokoyeti Day Care Centre and Mokoyeti Brook Youth Group.
