About Diani Campsite and Cottages

Established in 2003, Diani Campsite and Cottages has a collection of bandas, rooms and tents. Located almost opposite the Petro station in the centre of Diani, the campsite is only a short walk from Diani Beach.

There are 4 1-bedroom bandas, 5 2-bedroom bandas and 1 3-bedroom banda. Each banda is attractively painted and thatched, and has double bedrooms, bathroom, living room and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a block of 4 en-suite rooms. The campsite has a camp house with cooking area, library, showers and WCs. Tents, mattresses and other camping equipment are available for rent.

The thatched open air restaurant is decorated with floor to ceiling murals of African scenes, and is equipped with satellite TV. It serves a broad Kenyan and international menu, including steaks, grilled tuna in garlic butter, prawns pilipili, lobster thermidor, pizzas and nyama choma grilled meats. The bar is well stocked with soft drinks, beers and spirits. There is also a health bar with freshly squeezed fruit juices. Diani Campsite and Cottages tries to make as little impact on the environment as possible; there is a strict policy of keeping the garden free of plastic and all food waste is composted.
