About Inshallah

On Diani’s famed beachfront, Ishallah has been developed from one of the earliest houses on Diani Beach, dated to about 1920. The three cottages are set in three-acre gardens filled with indigenous trees, including 1,000-year-old baobab trees, coconut palms and flamboyant trees, and home to colobus monkeys and coastal birds.

There are three cottages, designed with Swahili and Arab architecture, with carved wooden doors and white-washed arches. They’re well spaced out along the beachfront, with sweeping lawns and plenty of privacy. Melia Suite, Azhari Beach Suite and Beach Cottage are all individually designed, have coastal décor and are built of reclaimed wood. Each cottage has double en-suite bedroom, kitchen, private pool, tea and coffee, safe, aircon, wifi and charging points. They have sun decks, private spaces, and sunbeds. Yoga and fitness sessions can be arranged on request. They can be taken on a self caterimg basis, or catered.

Water sports can be organised from here, including boat trips, water sports, deep sea fishing, kite surfing, diving, SUP and jetski. Diani also has a golf course, several spas, good restaurants, beach bars, shopping centres and art galleries. Activities include trips to Mombasa Old Town, Fort Jesus, dhow trips, snorkelling and water sports.
