About Swahili Beach

Swahili Beach, a luxurious and sophisticated resort, was established in 2011. The resort blends the architecture of the East African coast with the influences of Arabia, India and Zanzibar. It was designed with state of the art technologies to ensure minimum ecological impact.

There are 140 en-suite rooms, made up of 16 standard, 110 superior and 14 executive suites. All rooms are furnished with Swahili furniture and equipped with flat screen TV, minibar, electronic safe, WiFi and aircon. Standard rooms have views of the gardens and cascading swimming pools. Superior rooms have views of the ocean and include an extended sitting room. Executive suites have views of the ocean and include a lounge, dining veranda and private kitchen.

The Majilis serves buffet; East to East serves a fusion of Indian and Swahili cuisine; the Champagne and Oyster Bar serves seafood; Baharini serves Italian cuisine. The many bars include a swim-up poolside bar.

The Spa and Fitness Centre has 6 treatment rooms and a wide selection of treatments. The gym has cardiovascular machines, isotonic equipment and weights. The 2 fully equipped conference rooms seat 150 pax and 50 pax. There is also a hair and beauty salon, children’s club and water sports centre offering a full range of beach and ocean activities.
