About The Zubeida

Named after the owner’s mother, The Zubeida is a collection of villas on Diani Beach.

There are 8 villas, with white washed walls and lawns to the beach. Villa One is larger, and has 4 en-suite bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area, and a rooftop terrace. Villas 2 to 8 have 2 en-suite bedrooms, whitewashed walls. All the villas have fully equipped kitchens with fridge, cooker, microwave, crockery, cutlery and coffee press. The distressed white wood furniture includes sofa, armchairs and dining table. The villas are adorned with Arabic lanterns and coastal décor.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds. The poolside restaurant has an open kitchen and serves a selection of dishes including vegetable and saffron risotto, Swahili red snapper, Mombasa bay prawn, lobster thermidor, classic Zubeida beef mignon, lamb curry Swahili style. The charcoal grill serves parrillas – smoke infused meats in big charcoal grill, Dublin Bay prawns and Zubeida platter. The resort does not serve alcohol.

Diani is Kenyas most famous beach, and has won several awards. It has several restaurants, beach bars, shopping centres, art galleries and water sports centres. Excursions include Mombasa Old Town, Fort Jesus, Shimoni and Wasini Island.
