About Ocean Village

On the beachfront of Diani Beach, Ocean Village is set in indigenous gardens with plentiful birdlife, bushbabies and coastal views. This is an adult-only hotel, a peaceful haven, and over 18s are welcome.

There are 25 en-suite rooms, with ocean views, TV, tea and coffee, and lounge area. Sails Restaurant serves a la carte, and Makuti serves buffet. Dress code is smart casual, and jeans, t-shirts, running shoes and flipflops aren’t permitted. The poolside bar serves cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks. Dukati Boutique has clothing, artefacts, arts and crafts, and the tailors can make clothing to fit. The hotel doesn’t encourage noisy activities or ball games. Conferences, weddings and large groups are not welcomed.

Diani Beach is Kenya’s most famous beach, and has won many awards. Diani has several restaurants, beach bars, shopping centres, art galleries and a golf course. There are also water sports centres, dive schools and boat trips nearby. Excursions can be booked from here, including Mombasa Old Town, Fort Jesus, Shimoni and Wasini Island.
